During this difficult time, we are committed to complete transparency regarding any potential additional costs or cash advances. In certain circumstances, extra fees may apply. These may include situations where a passing occurs at a private residence requiring additional transfer assistance, or when out-of-state (including New Jersey) filings and documentation are necessary for transportation within the United States or internationally. Additional charges may also apply for certified copies of the death certificate, oversized cremation containers for individuals over 250 pounds, and any additional memorialization selections. If the family wishes to have an open casket viewing, and circumstances are not conducive, additional charges may apply for specialized embalming and cosmetics. The coordination of and the use of facilities after normal hours of operation after 5pm eastern or on weekends, unless otherwise discussed. As per the New Jersey 48 hour rule refrigeration is required beyond 48 hours after passing prior to cremation, a charge will be applied. If arrangements are not finalized within 72 hours following the cremation process, storage fees may apply. Please know that we will always review and clearly explain any applicable charges with you in advance, ensuring you can make informed decisions with confidence and peace of mind.
