The history of funeral service in South Haven stretches back many years, beginning when the Ayers Funeral Home operated at 321 Michigan Avenue. Over time, the community has been served by several funeral homes, including Ayers, Everson, Frost, and Calvin & Starks. Throughout the 20th century, the local funeral service industry saw many changes—businesses changed hands, names, and locations—eventually settling at its current location at 1076 South Bailey Avenue. In 2000, a new chapter began with the opening of a locally owned, community-focused funeral home committed to serving South Haven with care and dedication.
