Pet cremation

Pet Cremation

When you choose Kurzawa Funeral Home to care for your pet, you can be assured that they will be tended to by our staff, and will never leave our watchful care.

If you aren't sure how the cremation process works, it is simply the application of heat to transform your pet’s physical remains into its basic elements. The cremated remains can be returned to you in an urn or container of your choosing, or our staff can scatter the remains for you. Below you will find information on the two types of cremation services we offer.

Private Cremation Care

Kurzawa Funeral Home offers families private cremation care, so that you know your beloved companion receives our complete attention. With private cremation care, you'll receive a Certificate of Private Cremation and your pet's cremated remains in a container of your choosing.

Communal Cremation Care

Communal cremation is a good choice if your family prefers not to receive your pet’s cremated remains back. In this process, several pets are cremated together, and the resulting cremated remains are scattered at our cemetery.

Communal cremations must be requested through a local veterinarian's office, and cannot be privately arranged.
