Zofia Dzioba
January 15, 1925 — August 17, 2021
Zofia Dzioba 96, (Nee: Wojcik) of South Amboy entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.
Born in Slezaki, Poland the daughter of Michal and Franciszka, she emigrated to America in 1964 and lived in South Amboy. She was a talented seamstress for various clothing centers in the area, but most of all she was a devoted wife and loving mother. Zofia was an active member of Sacred Heart Church, Rosary Society and sang in the choir.
She is predeceased by her parents, her husband Walter, sister Maria Kulig and son-in-law John Klajn.
Zofia is survived by her loving children Christine Klajn, Stanley Dzioba, and his wife Anna, Ted Dzioba, and his wife Alexandra and Eugene Dzioba, and his wife Dorothy. Cherished grandmother to Michael Dzioba, and his wife Jessica, Nicholas Dzioba, and his wife Melissa, Richard Dzioba, and his wife Michelle, Mark Klajn, Alex Dzioba, and his wife Jill, Diane Dzioba and Kevin Dzioba. Adored great grandmother to Jackson, Rocco, Cameron, Joanna and Hudson. Dear sister to Anna Rog.
Friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at the Kurzawa Funeral Home 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879 from 4 pm to 6 pm and 9am Monday morning before the 10 am Funeral Mass being offered at Sacred Heart Church South Amboy on Monday, followed by a burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Sacred Heart Church in memory of Zofia Dzioba.
