Walter P. Klimek

Walter P. Klimek, 90, of South Amboy, New Jersey, died on Wednesday, February 8, 2017. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Kurzawa Funeral Home, 338 Main Street in South Amboy.
A Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Tuesday, February 14, at 9 AM at Sacred Heart Church in South Amboy. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Parlin.
Born in South Amboy, NJ to the late Peter and Margaret Klimek, Walter has been been a resident of South Amboy his whole life. he proudly served our country as a WWII Veteran with the U.S. Navy. He worked many years as an Engineer with the Government Picatinny Arsenal.
Surviving are his niece, Joy Klimek, nephew Paul Klimek and sister-in-law Estelle Klimek. Walter was predeceased by his parents and siblings Frances, Mary, Peter and Joseph Klimek.
