Tadeusz J. Rekiec

Tadeusz (Ted) Rekiec 74 of Old Bridge, NJ passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to anyone who wanted to stop by and talk.
Ted was born on March 12, 1949 to Czeslaw and Mary Rekiec in Oldham, England and in 1953 moved to South River, NJ where he was raised alongside his sister Stacia.
Ted was known for his all-in attitude whether it came to working, being a father, or later being a grandfather. When he cared about something or someone his feelings were parallel to none. He did everything he could to ensure that his children would have a comfortable life. Ted was also an avid animal lover and sunbather. If it was a beautiful day in the summer you knew you'd find him by the pool in his backyard.
Ted was preceded in death by his father Czeslaw Rekiec in 1999, his mother Mary Rekiec in 2000, and his sister Stacia Rekiec in 1999.
Ted is survived by his two children Rachael Lynn Murphy and Evan Nicholas Rekiec, his grand-daughter Haley Lynn Murphy, his son-in-law Bubba Murphy, and soon to be daughter-in-law Jenine Distefano, all of whom he loved dearly.
