Susana Quiroga De Maure

Susana Quiroga De Maure formerly of Brooklyn, NY entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 23, 2026.

Susana was born on February 17, 1942, in Mendoza, Argentina. She was raised in a convent by nuns who taught her many important lessons that would remain with her throughout her life. Above all, they taught her the importance of patience, compassion, and love.

Those lessons became an essential part of who Susana was. She grew into a deeply loving and patient woman, known for her wonderful personality and her gentle, caring spirit.

Susana married Carlos, with whom she shared a life filled with family and love. Together, they raised two children, Carlos and Graciela, who became the center of her world.

Susana was a devoted homemaker and a wonderful mother. She dedicated herself completely to caring for her family and made sure that her children never lacked anything they needed. She was always there for them, caring for them, supporting them, and making their well-being her priority. Her home was a place of love, warmth, and security because of the care she gave so generously every day.

She was also a wonderful cook, and everyone loved her cooking. Preparing meals for the people she loved was another way Susana expressed her love and generosity. Her cooking brought family and friends together and created countless memories that will be cherished for years to come.

Her greatest joy was her family. She treasured her children and later found immense happiness in her grandchildren and great-grandchild. The love she gave to her family was unconditional and unwavering.

She is survived by her children Carlos Maure and his wife Pietrina Maure, Susana Graciela Soreira and her husband Emiliano Soreira; grandchildren, Luciano Soreira, Susanna Maure, Gabriella McCormack (Maure), William McCormack and Estelle Fialk

Also, survived by her brothers Francisco, Hugo and Anna Quiroga which continue to reside in Argentina

Susana will be remembered for her patience, her loving heart, her wonderful personality, her generosity, and the devotion she showed to the people she loved. Her family will carry her love, her traditions, and the many beautiful memories she created in their hearts forever.

Though she is deeply missed, the love she gave will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild.

Friends are invited to pay their respects to the family at the Kurzawa Funeral Home 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879 on Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 1pm to 3pm. A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home at 2:30pm on Saturday.
