Susan Carstens

Susan Carstens, 81 of Parlin, NJ entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 9, 2018.
She is survived by her loving daughters Anita Carstens and Karen Travisano, son-in-law, Paul Travisano, and her cherished grandchildren, Nick and Chelsea Travisano. She is also survived by her dear sister-in-law, Ann Polak, her nephew, Paul Polak, and Paul’s wife, Gilda. She will be missed by her niece, Linda Vnuk Hofmeister, her dear brother-in-law, Rolf Kraft, her niece and God-daughter Elka Katz, Elka’s husband, David Katz, and their daughters, Kayla and Sarah Katz.
She was aunt to Jan Polak, Pavol Polak, Viera Gavlasova, Anna Duroskova, Jan Lalis and many beloved grand nieces and nephews throughout the US, Slovakia, and Europe.
Susan was predeceased by her beloved mother, Anna Polak and her dear father, Jan Polak, two beloved sisters, Ann Vnuk, Elizabeth Kraft, and three dear brothers Jan, Martin, and Paul Polak and nephew, John Vnuk.
She enjoyed a full life filled with love, laughter, and joy with her family and friends. Susan worked for many years at Toys “R” Us and at E.R. Squibb & Sons. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
