Steve M. Brennan
August 20, 1955 — January 14, 2023
Steve Brennan of Old Bridge, passed away on January 14, 2023 peacefully in his sleep at the age of 67.
Steve was born on August 20th, 1955 to Harold and Jeanne Brennan in East Orange, NJ and grew up in Sayreville, NJ. After graduating from St. Mary’s High School in South Amboy, he went on to earn an Associate’s degree from Middlesex Community College. Steve went on to have a 30-year career at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and then moved on to a 15+ year career at Home Depot. In 1986, Steve married his now deceased wife, Barbara Ruskuski Brennan and they went on to have three children, Kelly, Kaitlyn and Patrick Brennan. One of the kindest souls, Steve was a gentle, giving man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed.
Steve was predeceased by his wife Barbara, his mother Jeanne, and his father Harold.
He is survived by his three children Kelly, Kaitlyn and Patrick; a brother Harold and his wife Lynn Brennan; a sister Ruthanne and her husband and Mark Rodziewicz; a sister in-law Debi and her husband Gregg Thiel; a sister in-law Cyndi Ruskuski-D’Meo; a brother in-law Rob and his wife Kelly Ruskuski; and multiple nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Friday, January 20, 2023, from 4pm to 7pm at the Kurzawa Funeral Home 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879. There will be a catholic prayer service at 6:30pm on Friday evening at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
