Stanislaw Gacki

July 2, 2023, Stanislaw Gacki, 85, of Old Bridge, NJ, passed away peacefully at home with his beloved wife Maria at his side. It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness he left this world.
Stanislaw was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Stanislaw son of Stanislaw Gacki and Janina Czaplicka was born on October 5th 1937 in Poland. Stanislaw and wife Maria immigrated to the United States in the late 70’s, planting roots in the Polish Community of Bayonne, NJ, Stanislaw worked as Longshoreman at Sealand Terminal. After retiring in 1994, Stanislaw enjoyed spending time with the family, fishing, gardening as well as tinkering and fixing things in his workshop.
Stanislaw is survived by his wife of 60 years Maria, daughter Ewa (Greg Anderson) Jakubowski, sons Adam (Barbara) & Robert (Denisa). By his grandchildren Adam S. (Kim), Christopher (Kristine), Victoria (partner Eric), Kathleen Lenkiewicz (Krzysztof), Olivia & Lukas. By his great-grandchildren Bentley, Lillia, Emma, Jakob, Noah, Nikolas, Jared , Charlie, Jayda, Izabella & Calvin. His brothers Stefan (Danuta) & Jan (Halina), his sisters Anna, Teresa (Alek) & Maryla (Jurek). Numerous Nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Stanislaw leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience. While we mourn his loss, we find solace in the memories we shared and the lessons he imparted. His spirit will forever reside in our hearts, guiding us through life's challenges and reminding us to cherish every moment. We find comfort in knowing that Stanislaw has found peace and rest, and we are grateful for the time we had with him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at the Kurzawa Funeral Home 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879 from 4 pm to 7 pm and from 9 am - 9:30 am on Friday morning. A 10 am funeral mass will be on Friday, July 7, 2023 at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy, NJ 08879, followed by an entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Cranbury Road, Jamesburg, NJ.
