Ruth Waverczak, (Nee: Makowiecki) 91, of South Amboy died Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
She was born in Perth Amboy and has lived in South Amboy for the past 64 years.
Ruth was a loving mother and homemaker, who enjoyed Bingo and the South Amboy Senior Citizens.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Waveczak, and mother Mary Mackowiecki.
Surviving on her sister, Florence Hope; two daughters, Maryanne McCall of Redbank and Karen McCabe of Howell; five grandchildren. Melissa, Brian and Shawn McCall, and Jack and Michael McCabe.
Friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 8:30am to 9:30am at the Kurzawa Funeral Home, 338 Main Street, South Amboy, followed by a 10:00am Mass at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, South Amboy. Ruth will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.
