Rose Marie Boychuk

With deep sorrow and sadness we announce the passing of Rose Marie Boychuk, a lifelong resident of the Morgan Section of Sayreville, NJ who peacefully entered into eternal peace after 81 years of life on Monday January 5, 2026.

Rose was a deeply devoted lifelong member of the Sacred Heart Church in South Amboy and found great joy in faithfully participating in many church events. including her proudest honors was the Crowner in the Virgin Mary crowning ceremony celebrated in May 1955. Rose worked for Amboy Bank for over 50 years .

Rose enjoyed many trips to Atlantic City and dining with family. She will be remembered for her warm heart and kindness that she shared with everyone who came to know her.

She is predeceased by her loving Husband Jerrold Boychuk and parents Catherine & Michael Gorczynski ,and her brother Edward Gorczynski.

She leaves behind many nephews and nieces .

Friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, January 09, 2026 from 4pm to 7pm, at the Kurzawa Funeral Home 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879. On Saturday, January 10, 2026 the funeral will start at 9:15am from the funeral home, followed by a 10am mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, 531 Washington Avenue, South Amboy, NJ 08879. A burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin, NJ.
