Rosanna Bellanich (Nee Guasti), age 89, of South Amboy, NJ entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 30, 2024.
“ A mom's hug lasts long after she lets go ” Unknown
Born in 1935 in the small town of Casalotto, Italy in the northern province of Piedmont, she emigrated to the U.S with her husband Antonio and 2 oldest sons in 1962. They arrived like many, with little else but their hopes and dreams of a better life in the United States. Their other 2 sons Robert and Stephen arrived by the end of the decade to make their lives even more full with the challenge of raising 4 sons. Rosanna was always the anchor, full of life, independent, with a smile that always warmed your heart. She worked in a variety of ways to complement Antonio who was sadly taken from her early in 1981. A seamstress, a nurse’s aid, business owner and more, she was fearless in her determination. She forged ahead with steady focus on her family. She loved to dance, paint, and most importantly, enjoy life.
