Robert Newton Howden 75 passed away peacefully, on Sunday, August 22,2021 at home surrounded by his loving family in South Amboy, NJ.
Robert was born August 7,1946 in Albany, New York to Rev. Frank and Cornelia (Fenton)Howden . Robert was a graduate from Waterbury State Technical College, with an Associates degree in Computer Science. He worked as an apartment maintenance technician. He also worked as photographer and farm hand on his family's farm. He enjoyed reading and was happiest with a book in his hand. He enjoyed museums, coins, antiques, his computer and traveling. He was a great historian.
Robert is survived by his wife Muya Howden of 33 years, his loving children Alicia Kiefer and her husband Ronald, Mary Margaret Kelly and her husband Paul and Robert Howden and his wife Michelle. Dear brother to William Howden and his wife Thanh, Susan Blanchard and her husband Ron and Sarah Howden. Adored by many grandchildren , great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Robert will be greatly missed for his love will live with us forever.
A private ceremony is planned for later this week in Sheffield Massachusetts.
