Paula Ann DeToro

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our sister Paula DeToro 60 of Old Bridge, on Thursday, December 18, 2025 with her family by her side.

Born in Perth Amboy, NJ then resided in Old Bridge NJ. Paula worked for Merry Maids and was very well liked by her clients. Paula was all about family. Ohana is our motto. Whether it was hanging out in her brother’s backyard, dancing in her brother’s kitchen, taking vacations or getting tattoos as long as she was with her family. Paula enjoyed sports. From playing when she was younger to routing for the NY Giants when she was older, she gave her all. Paula enjoyed life to the fullest and we will forever carry joyful memories of her in our hearts.

Paula was predeceased by her parents Francis and Barbara (Adamcik) DeToro; her puppy dogs Onyx and Jake; Koda (fur nephew)

She is survived by her brothers Frank DeToro Jr., Anthony DeToro and his wife Jayne and their children Julianna Desfosse and Jeffrey Desfosse; Pat and Mary Ann Gentile and their children Christopher Gentile, Patrick and Ciena Gentile and their children Annabelle and Patrick III; Joyce Crawford (Jayne and Mary Ann’s mother).

Friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 4pm to 7pm at the Kurzawa Funeral Home 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879.
