Patsy M Battaglia
December 2, 1934 — April 10, 2019
Patsy M. Battaglia 84, of South Amboy passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the Venetian Rehabilitation Center.
He was born and raised in Newark the son Ralph and Eleanor. Patsy was a decorated Sergeant of the Newark Police Department. He served the community for 32 years and retired in the early 90’s. He loved his family and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and spending time with his son at the racetracks where they spent a lot of time with other friends. Patsy was a true friend to the end and was person that everyone will remember.
Patsy is survived by his loving son Angelo Battaglia, and his cherished granddaughter Joy, his dear sister Kathleen Snyder and many close friends that he considered his family.
He is predeceased by his wife Joy, his daughter Debra and brother-in-law Sam.
Friends are invited to the Kurzawa Funeral Home, on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 9am to 11am, a prayer service will be held at 11am by Father Dennis Weezorak from St. Mary’s Church at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
