Patrick H. Tomaszewski

Patrick Holland Tomaszewski, 62, of Parlin, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026.

Born in Jersey City, Patrick later moved to Parlin during his adolescence, where he spent much of his life. Patrick dedicated 20 years of his career to the Dock Builders of NYC Local 1556 before retiring 10 years ago. He truly loved the water and enjoyed time on his boat or trips on his Harley. He was dedicated to his work and embraced the camaraderie that came with it, forming lifelong friendships and countless memories along the way. Above all else, Patrick was a devoted father, a loving grandfather, and a true family man whose presence brought laughter, and strength to those around him.

He was predeceased by his beloved mother, Anne C. (Holland) Tomaszewski; his father, William Tomaszewski; his sister, Catherine Tomaszewski; and his brothers, William Tomaszewski and Michael Tomaszewski.

Patrick is survived by his cherished daughter, Leigh Lewis, her husband, and his three adored grandchildren, who were the light of his life and will carry his love and legacy forward.

Friends are invited to a 1:30pm graveside service on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Chestnut Hill Cemetery 848 Old Bridge Turnpike, East Brunswick, NJ 08816.
