Patricia Ogarek

Patricia Ogarek age 75, of South Amboy NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2026. She was born on August 18, 1950, to Edward and Alice (Snyder) Luderman.

Patricia dedicated many years of her working life as a secretary at Zion Lutheran Church Rahway where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and reliability. She retired to spend cherished time with her family, particularly enjoying caring for her beloved grandchildren. An avid football fan, Patricia loved cheering on her favorite teams and sharing in the excitement of the game. She also had a deep affection for animals and found great joy in their company throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ogarek; her father, Edward Luderman; and her mother, Alice Snyder Luderman.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Oliveira; her son, Dirk Ogarek; and her cherished grandchildren Allison, Logan and Adalyn.

Patricia will be remembered for her loving spirit, her devotion to family, and the quiet joy she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Patricia’s life, friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Friday, June 12, 2026 from 4pm to 6pm at the Kurzawa Funeral Home, 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in her memory to Zion Lutheran Church 215 Elm Avenue, Rahway, NJ 07065.
