Monica Sweatt (Nee: Andrejewski), 86 passed away peacefully on August 10 at her home in Old Bridge.

Born and grew up in South Amboy, and after graduating from Hoffman High School, she met her and fell in love with Ucamera. They started a family in South Amboy and shortly thereafter moved to Old Bridge in 1970 and they continued to raise eight children. She had worked throughout the years in retail, was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking and baking.

Monica is survived by her sons James, his wife Nora of Jacksonville Florida, Alan of Old Bridge and her daughter Lisa Sweatt of Manalapan. Also survived by a daughter-in-law Doreen Sweatt of South Amboy, she was the adored grandmother to 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents Francis and Sophie Andrejewski, her brother Francis Jr. Andrejewski, her husband Ucamera Sweatt, her sons Ucamera, Jr., John, Richard, Timothy and her daughter Cynthia.

Friends are invited for a 10 am chapel service at Sacred Heart Cemetery Mausoleum, Johnson Lane, Parlin.
