Mary A. Suchcicki, 86 entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Brandywine Senior Living in Howell.
Mary was born in South Amboy the daughter of Marion and Jennie, she went to Hoffman High School. She retired from Fairleigh Dickinson University in the late 1990’s as a technical writer for instruction manuals. For most of her life she worked as a staff writer for the Newark News, Asbury Park Press, Daily Journal and the Perth Amboy Evening News. She was a free spirited person who enjoyed golfing, playing bridge, painting and traveling all around the world. Mary had a private pilot license and at one point in her life she flew with the “Blue Angels”. Although she never had children of her own, she was the support and guiding light of all her family and friends.
Mary is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, extended family and friends that loved her immensely. Her spirit will live forever in their hearts and beautiful smile will be remembered by all that knew her.
She is predeceased by her sisters Jessie Wilczewski-Bolinski, Jeanie Zukos, brothers Victor, Edwin, Chester and Ben Suchcicki.
