Marguerite Moskwa (Nee: Hatarick) 91 of South Amboy entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
Marguerite was born in Perth Amboy, NJ the daughter of Stephen and Elizabeth. Most will remember Marguerite (Marge for most) from working for 23+ years in the Water/Tax Department for the City of South Amboy. She was also a proud parishioner of The Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Holy Rosary Society. Marguerite enjoyed day trips, cruising to various Islands as well as the Panama Canal and Alaska and traveling to different countries, especially parts of Europe. One of her favorite pastimes was doing crossword puzzles, above all spending time with her friends, family and grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents, her son Joseph (JoJo) Garsick, first husband Joseph Philip Garsick and second husband Joseph Moskwa; siblings Dorothy Silakowski, Rosemarie Scully and Michael Hatarick.
Marguerite is survived by her children Debbie Salomon and her husband Larry, Richard Garsick, Thomas Garsick and his wife Kathleen, Diane and her husband Thaddeus and Nancy Garsick. Grandchildren Mark and his companion Kari, Kevin, Thomas and his wife Jennifer, Katie and her husband Ian; Robert and his wife Anya, Kelli and her husband Evan and also ten beautiful great grandchildren.
Friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Monday, May 12, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm at the Kurzawa Funeral Home 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879, the Sacred Heart Rosary Society will be offering a service at 4:30 pm on Monday. A 10 am funeral mass will be offered at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy, NJ on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. She will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin, NJ.
