Margaret Diane Adams Andrejcik

Margaret "Diane" Adams Andrejcik (Nee: Gergits) passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at JFK Hospital in Edison, NJ. Known as Diane, or "Mom Adams," she lived most of her life in South Amboy, NJ where she raised 5 children who were her pride and joy.
Diane worked as a Certified Nurses Aide and retired from South Amboy Hospital. She always had a welcoming home full of friends and family. Diane was a lifetime member of St. Mary Church in South Amboy.
She was predeceased by her parents, Margaret and George Gergits, siblings Albert "Deacon" Gergits and George Gergits, husband Michael Bruce Andrejcik, children, Donna Adams and Timothy Adams, and grandchild, Christopher Brown, all of South Amboy.
She is survived by: Her children, Diane Adams (Charlotte, NC), Christopher Adams and his wife Nancy Flohrs Adams (Stamford, CT), Julie Adams Brennan and her husband Brian Brennan (East Brunswick, NJ), her grandchildren Margaret (Maggie) Adams, Jillian Kenderish Stamatelos, and her husband Andrew Stamatelos, James Kenderish, and wife Kellyann, Timothy Adams, Lauren Brennan and Sean Brennan, and her sibling, Gregory Gergits, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kurzawa Funeral Home, 338 Main St, South Amboy, NJ, 08879. There will be a catholic prayer service being offered at 6:30 pm on Tuesday. A private cremation followed an inurnment will be held at a later date.
