Manuel Villegas, 78 years old after losing his battle with cancer, passed away.
Manuel was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He worked for 35 years in the Port Authority in Guayaquil. After his retirement, he lived in New Jersey for 25 years with his family. Manuel is remembered for being a great husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. Manuel liked to walk, read, and watch soccer in his spare time.
He is survived by his loving wife Norma Villegas, daughter Danae Fernandes, son-in-law Joao Fernandes, grandchildren Tatiana, Tamara, and Fabricio Fernandes, and great-grandson Emmanuel Tirado.
His parents Pedro Villegas and Nicea Martillo, his son Donny Fabricio Villegas, his sisters Clara, Ana Maria and Cristina have already passed away.
Graveside service 2pm will be Friday, December 2, 2022 at the Frost Woods Memorial Park, 336 New Brunswick Avenue, East Brunswick, NJ 08816.

Manuel nacio en Guayaquil, Ecuador. Trabajo por 35 anos en Autoridad Portuaria en Guayaquil. Luego de su retiro vivio en New Jersey por 25 anos con su familia. Manuel es recordado por ser un gran Esposo, padre, suegro, abuelo y bisabuelo. Manuel le gustaba pasear, leer, y ver futbol en su tiempo libre.
Le sobreviven su adorada esposa Norma Villegas, su hija Danae Fernandes, su yerno Joao Fernandes, sus nietos Tatiana, Tamara y Fabricio Fernandes, y su bisnieto Emmanuel Tirado.
Ya fallecidos sus Padres Pedro Villegas y Nicea Martillo, su hijo Donny Fabricio Villegas, sus hermanas Clara, Ana Maria y Cristina.
El servicio 2pm junto a la tumba será el viernes 2 de diciembre de 2022 en Frost Woods Memorial Park, 336 New Brunswick Avenue, East Brunswick, NJ 08816.
