Lola Zalewski

Our sweet Lola, our beloved girl, passed away peacefully at 14 years old, leaving behind a lifetime of love, memories, and happiness.

Lola was the absolute sweetest dog anyone could have ever asked for. She was loving, protective, and had a way of making everyone who knew her feel special. She loved nothing more than laying in the warm sun, baking for hours, and giving her best puppy eyes in hopes that someone would give in and share a little table scrap with her.

She was a beloved member of our family, and everyone who knew Lola has a special memory of her. She certainly had her mischievous side too. She managed to eat two sofas and was often off on an adventure with her best friend, Cygan, our German Shepherd who has also passed. Those memories are now some of the ones we will cherish most.

But Lola’s most special bond was undoubtedly with Janusz. They loved each other so deeply and shared so many beautiful memories together. Just two weeks after we lost Janusz, we had to say goodbye to Lola too. As heartbreaking as it is to lose them both so close together, we find comfort in imagining that they are together again.

We hope Janusz and Lola are keeping each other wonderful company. Playing fetch, tug-of-war, and enjoying all the things they loved. Most of all, we hope Lola is young again, completely free of pain, and able to run and play as she once did.

Lola gave our family 14 beautiful years of unconditional love, laughter, companionship, and memories that we will carry with us forever. She will be missed more than words can say, but she will never be forgotten.
