Kathleen Marie Mahon
November 11, 1958 — June 24, 2019
Kathleen Marie Mahon entered into eternal rest at home on June 24th, 2019 at the age of 60.
Kathleen was born in Jersey City, the daughter of James and Adrienne. She pursued her education with fierce determination and will. As an accomplished student, earning a Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University and a Masters in Social Work from Fordham University. She was an avid sports fan, sharing her love of the NY Yankees, NY Giants and boxing with her father. Kathleen adored nature, was a master gardener, she was her happiest in the Catskills, basking in the sun with her feet in the cold water of the waterfalls at the Grist Mill . She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her loving sisters Patricia Mahon, Caroline Mahon, Eileen Trask and husband John, Jamie Sininsky and husband Stephen and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind extended family and her beloved Godmother Mary Theresa Montoro.
She is preceded in death by her parents James and Adrienne Mahon, and her pet dog Sweetie Pie.
A 10:00 am funeral mass will be offered at St. Anthony of Padua Church 436 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading, NJ 07064 on Saturday, July 13,2019.
