"It is more blessed to give than to receive." Acts 20:35

Judith Ann Inch, of Old Bridge, NJ passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at the age of 83 after a stoic battle with dementia.

She was a Newark native, spending her childhood and young adult years “Down Neck” with her lifelong partners in crime Reggie Eitel, and MaryAnn Ballman, often accompanied by Reggie’s younger sister Stephanie among others. Judy or “JJ” for those of us lucky enough to bask in the light of her love truly knew that it was more blessed to give than to receive. Her generosity knew no bounds, sometimes to the frustration of those of us around her as we attempted to return the favor. JJ was a loving mother and grandmother and a beautiful soul who would help anyone. Her radiant smile lit up any room she entered. She lived life to the fullest and loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her beloved granddaughter Lauren Mulligan.

Although JJ is gone, she lives on in our hearts - remembered always for her strength, loyalty, kindness, wonderful company, and boundless love for her friends and family.

She spent her career in Insurance Underwriting for some of the largest companies in the Tri-state area making many deep and abiding friendships along the way. Especially Madelin Anello who has been a steadfast friend and trusted confidant for decades.

Preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Jean Marie Inch, parents John and Kathrine Inch and brother Charles Inch.

She is survived by her son-in-law Tim Mulligan, daughter-in-law Leigh Mulligan and cherished granddaughter Lauren Mulligan.

There was a private cremation ceremony, but there will be a graveside service in the future at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. We will update as soon as the date is known.
