Josephine D. Cichetti
June 21, 1936 — March 7, 2023
Josephine (Jo) D. Cichetti, (Nee: De Quarto) 87 of Redbank passed away peacefully on March 7, 2023. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all whose lives she touched.
Jo was born June 21, 1936 in Bayonne, NJ the daughter of Frank and Louise (Letterielli) De Quarto. Jo married her longtime friend and love, Frank Cichetti in September of 1960 who preceded her in death in 2000. Sister of many brothers and sisters all who she loved dearly.
Jo was known for her kindness and nurturing ways. She expressed love to her grandchildren, family, and any friend that walked through the door through her homemade Italian meatballs and chicken cutlets. For 41 years Jo worked as a registered nurse at Bayonne Hospital in New Jersey. It suited her selfless heart to serve and help those in need.
Jo is survived by her two children and her son in law, Dina and Robert Nanco and Angela Cichetti; her grandchildren Briana Kane and Jared Kane; and to all of her nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews, of these she loved and touched deeply.
A 10 am graveside service will be offered on Friday, March 17, 2023, at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ 07031.
