Joseph T. Wands

Joseph Thomas Wands, 39, of Sayreville, NJ passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
Joseph was born on July 23, 1983 in New Brunswick NJ, the son of Donna Osolinski. He graduated from Sayreville War Memorial High School in 2002. Recently, he worked at Commercial Metals Company in Sayreville as a train operator, but he enjoyed working with his hands and spent many years as a mechanic prior to that. More than anything, Joe loved making people laugh. He was a full time prankster with a grin a mile wide. Like his sister, he battled addiction and depression and always tried to work through it to a better tomorrow. He’ll always be missed, and he’ll always be in our hearts.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Lorraine and Frank Sharkey, his uncles Frank (Jr). and Robert Sharkey, and his sister Courtney Lynn Osolinski, all of Sayreville.
Joseph is survived by his mother Donna Osolinski and his stepfather Richard Osolinski II.
He leaves behind his loving siblings Steven Wands and his wife Carmela, Richard Osolinski III and his fiancé Connie Cheng, Jessica Osolinski, Cassandra Osolinski, and Christopher Osolinski, as well as his niece and nephews of which he adored.
Friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Monday, June 26, 2023 at the Kurzawa Funeral Home 338 Main Street, South Amboy NJ from 5 pm to 7 pm. Cremation private. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations to help the family with Joseph's final funeral services.
