John "Jack" Roberts

John "Jack" Roberts, 83 who was a life-long resident of South Amboy, NJ passed away peacefully on September 10, 2024 at home surrounded by family.
Born on March 27, 1941 Jack graduated from Hoffman High School. Jack was a 40 year member of Laborers' International Union of North America Local 77 and retired in 2007. Jack enjoyed spending his summers in Cape May, NJ and traveling to the Florida Keys. He also enjoyed fishing, gardening, craft beer, flea markets and was known for telling stories.
Jack is predeceased by his parents John and Florence Roberts and his sister Geraldine "Sis" Morrissey.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Louise Burkard Roberts, his son JD Roberts and wife Leigh Ann of Sayreville, his brother Ed "Ham" Roberts of Kissimmee, FL and many other close family members and friends.
Friends are invited to pay their respects to the family at the Kurzawa Funeral Home, 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879 on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 4pm-7pm. A 10am service will start at the funeral home followed a burial at Christ Church Cemetery, Sayreville, NJ on Saturday, September 14, 2024.
