Jerzy Szypryt

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerzy Szypryt of Perth Amboy, NJ. Jerzy passed away peacefully on May 31, 2020, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick at the age of 65. He is mourned by his loving family and friends.
Jerzy was a hardworking, caring, and loving man. He was born in Poland, and in 1989 he moved to the USA in search of his American dream. Jerzy’s personality lit up the room and he was the life of any party. He especially loved when his family and friends were having a good time. He was an amazing, fun loving person, and was always sensitive to the needs of those around him. He was always willing to lend a hand and he would give you everything. He was a talented craftsman, enjoyed many activities, and was an avid fisherman.
Jerzy is preceded by his father Bronislaw Szypryt. He is survived by his mother Gertruda Szypryt (Majer), brother Ryszard Szypryt, sister Halina Lepak (Szypryt), families from Poland, and sister Bozena Sobczyk (Szypryt), brother-in-law Leszek Sobczyk, and nephew Dariusz Sobczyk of NJ.
