Jean P. Godley
January 13, 1923 — July 9, 2021
Jean P. Godley ( Nee: Porrock ), 98 of the Parlin section of Sayreville, NJ entered into eternal rest suddenly Friday, July 9, 2021.
Born in Dickson City, PA the daughter of George and Lucille Porrock, she moved to New York City in 1942 where she met her husband Raymond. After getting married moved to Newark and started a family, and as the family grew they established the remaining time of their lives in Parlin since 1953. Jean was known for cooking, baking and seeing her family enjoy every bit of it. She also dedicated a lot of her time at the South Amboy Hospital volunteering. There are many memories shared at the Jersey Shore with family and friends.
Jean is predeceased by her husband Raymond, her children Sr., Lucille Tice, Raymond, Jr., sisters Laura Knolls, Geraldine Attinger, Helen Dudek, brothers Paul Porrock and John Porrock.
She is survived by her loving daughter Patricia Godley.
