Janice M. Prusakowski, 73 of Morganville, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 15, 2022.

Janice was born in Sayreville the daughter of the late Alfred and Jane Prusakowski. She graduated from Sayreville High School and became a registered nurse. Janice was a Pharmaceutical Clinical Research Associate for Merck for 30 years, while achieving a masters in public administration from Rutgers University in New Brunswick. She had an affinity for languages, was amazed with the languages of the world and did her best learning Spanish and Polish. Janice also taught conversational English with her daughter to Polish students in Krakow, Poland through the Kosciuszko Foundation. Janice enjoyed traveling throughout Europe, but especially loved Poland. Among her interests were genealogy, gardening, cooking and singing karaoke. Janice sang with Arcadian Chorale and actually performed with the group at Carnegie Hall, NYC. Above all she loved her dogs, she will be greatly missed.

Janice is survived by her husband of 40 years Frank Raimondi, daughter Nicole Raimondi, sister Christine Albro, and her husband John, nieces Amanda Phillips and Ashley Albro. Last, but not the least is her special puppy she rescued Natasha.

Friends are invited to pay respects to the family on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Kurzawa Funeral Home 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879, followed by a 10 am funeral mass on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. Entombment will be at Sacred Heart Mausoleum, Parlin, NJ. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her memory to the Sacred Heart Church in South Amboy.
