Irena Kolakowski, (Nee: Szelagowski) 80 years, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 16,2018 at John F. Kennedy Medical Center, Edison, NJ.
Irena is survived by her loving children Joseph Kolakowski, and his wife Jeanne and Donna Kolakowski. She is the grandmother to Claire.
Irena was born in Poland the daughter of the late Wallery and Regina, she was married in 1963 to her late husband Casimer who passed in 1996, they were the owners of Daylight Bakery in South Amboy for close to 30 years.
Mass services will start on Wednesday at 9 AM from The Church of the Sacred Heart in celebration of her life. Friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 5 to 8 PM at the Kurzawa Funeral Home, 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879
