Gregory (Greg) Francis Wojtanoski, a lifelong resident of South Amboy, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, at the age of 78. He was born on September 18, 1947, in Perth Amboy, NJ, to the late Anna Wojtanoski Arsenault and Henry Wojtanoski.
Greg’s greatest joy and commitment was his family, friends, and dogs. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Priscilla A. Wojtanoski. He was a cherished uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews, and one great-grandniece.
An avid bowler for more than 60 years, Greg’s dedication to the sport led him to win various tournament wins, with his proudest achievement being a perfect 300 game. His enduring legacy in the sport was cemented when he was inducted into the Middlesex County Bowling Hall of Fame.
Greg retired from Supermarkets General (Pathmark)after a dedicated career with the company. In his spare time, he was an enthusiastic New York Yankees and Oakland Raiders fan and held a special place in his heart for animals, especially dogs.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He will be remembered as a dedicated husband, a beloved uncle, and a true champion of the lanes.
Friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at the Kurzawa Funeral Home 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879 from 9:30am to 11am and a service will be at 11:30am at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin, NJ
