With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gail Eleanor Beshada Roberts of East
Brunswick, NJ, who left our world on August 19, 2024, at the age of 79.

Born on October 17, 1944, Gail resided in South Amboy most of her life before moving to East Brunswick.
Gail made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. She walked with the universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings. She lived a life full of love, joy, and boundless energy that touched everyone who knew her. To know her was to love her.

Gail cherished every moment spent with her family. Her love for her family was matched only
by her passion for competitive games. Whether it was a spirited round of BINGO or the
challenge of LCR at family gatherings, Gail approached every game with a determination that
made her a formidable opponent and a joy to play with. She always played to hit the jackpot to
share with her family, but we already hit the jackpot by having her in our lives.
She was an excellent and talented cook and a true food critic, especially when it came to family potluck parties. She was an avid coffee drinker and a professional coupon clipper. She
occasionally blessed her family with her own beautiful rendition of “Who Let the Dogs Out?”
and rarely shared her personal stash of potato chips and chocolate with others.
Beyond her competitive spirit, Gail will be remembered for her warmth, her laughter, and the
love she gave so freely. She leaves behind a legacy of memories that will forever be treasured by her family and friends.

Gail is preceded in death by her parents, Edward & Eleanor Beshada, her brothers David and Edward, her sister, Linda Carney, and her grandson David Roberts.

She is survived by her loving children, Denise Martin and her partner Darrell Spencer of East Brunswick; David Roberts and his partner Kim Tier of Merritt Island, Fl; and Glenn Roberts of Kissimmee, Fl. Gail’s grandchildren Samantha Greene and her husband Lane Greene, Amanda Wagner and her husband Glenn Wagner, Quinn Martin, Erin Warren, Kyle Spencer, Michael Roberts, Christopher Ioannides and her great-grandchildren Tripp Greene, Makenna Wagner, Gavin Greene, and Jack Wagner were the loves of her life; her sister Judy McCabe; and her many nieces and nephews, who she loved dearly.

Gail's life was a testament to the power of love and the importance of family. All that we are or
hope to be is because of her. She will be deeply missed but will remain in our hearts forever.

The family has chosen to honor Gail with a celebration of life with their closest friends and
family on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at the Kurzawa Funeral Home 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879 from 10am to 11am with a catholic prayer service scheduled at 11am. She will be placed with her parents at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin, NJ following the service.
