Frank J Sencher

Frank Joseph Sencher, 77, a longtime resident of Fords, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Old Bridge Medical Center, Old Bridge, NJ. He was born in South Amboy, NJ, on January 17, 1947. He grew up in Laurence Harbor, NJ before moving to Fords.
Frank was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Tillie (Nagrosky) Sencher, and his brother, Joseph Sencher, and sister, Kathryn Volosin. Frank is survived by his daughter, Maryellen Urbanik, and her husband, Steve Urbanik of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts and his son, Frank Sencher Jr and wife, Deborah Sencher, of Milford NJ, his sister, Linda Sencher, and his cherished grandchildren Kaitlin, Michael and Natalie Urbanik and Matthew and Sarah Sencher and his granddog Cooper.
Frank will most be remembered for his love of his children and grandchildren. Frank never missed a school event, hockey game, dance recital, wrestling match, regatta, or basketball game. After retiring from DuPont in 2001. He had a love of nature and enjoyed spending time outdoors picking fresh fruit with his grandchildren and baking pies. He loved fishing and camping. Frank will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
Friends are invited to the Kurzawa Funeral Home, 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879 on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 2pm to 5pm. A 10:30am Funeral Service will be offered on Monday, February 5, 2024 at the funeral home, followed by a burial at Christ Church Cemetery, South Amboy, NJ.
