Eugene J. Dzioba
February 26, 1957 — August 18, 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our cherished husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, Eugene Dzioba on August 18, 2024 at the age of 67.
Eugene was the last of four children born to Walter and Zofia Dzioba in Poland, who later immigrated to the United States for a better life. Eugene grew up in South Amboy, NJ, attended Perth Amboy Vocational Technical High School, and worked as a service technician at Son-Rise Document Solutions for many years.
Eugene was predeceased by his parents Walter and Zofia Dzioba. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, daughter Diane, son Kevin, sister Christine Klajn, brother Ted Dzioba, with his wife Alexandra, and brother Stanley Dzioba, with his wife Ania, as well as many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Eugene was known for his jokes, sharing stories, going on daily walks, and getting his coffee at 7-eleven.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Thursday, August 22, 2024 4pm to 7pm at Kurzawa Funeral Home at 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879, and 9am Friday, August 23 before the 10am Funeral Mass being held at Sacred Heart Church in South Amboy, followed by a burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Parlin.
