Doris H. Diitmar

Doris H. Dittmar (Nee: Trimble) 99, of Old Bridge, NJ entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 28, 2026.

Doris was born in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Alpha and Antoinette Trimble. She moved to Old Bridge with her husband in 1957, where she raised her daughters and lived a contented long life. Doris enjoyed crafting and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, friend, and she will be missed dearly.

Doris is survived by her loving daughters Susan Englert and her husband Arthur, and Janice Dittmar and Carlo Dianda. She was the cherished grandmother to April Jones, and her husband Ronald, Ian Englert, and his wife Rachel, and Jessica Dianda. Doris was the great-grandmother to Dustin Jones, Jackson Jones, Garrett Englert, and Henry Englert.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband Henry Dittmar, and her brother Edward Trimble.

Friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 10am to 12pm, and a prayer service at 11:30am at the Kurzawa Funeral Home, 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879. A procession will follow to Chestnut Hill Cemetery in East Brunswick where Doris will be laid to rest beside her husband Henry. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
