Damian Marcin Januszczak, 32 of Linden passed suddenly on January 9, 2019.
Born in Sanok, Poland the son of Romuald and Helena, when he was eighteen when he came to live with his sister Marzena after graduating from Zespol Szkol Budowlanych. He was a skilled contractor working in the home renovations his specialty was tile work and detailed mosaics. Damian’s personality was very outstanding, he had a huge heart always giving where he could to his family and friends. He enjoyed the outdoors loved fishing and working with his hands. His spirit and character will be greatly missed.
Surviving him are his parents ever loving Romuald and Helena, loving sister Marzena Janiszewski, her husband Slawomir, brothers Grzegorz and Radek Januszczak. But above all he adored his two little nieces who were angels in his eyes, Emilia and Antonia Janiszewski. Also many family and friends both here in the States and back home in Poland.
Friends are invited to the Kurzawa Funeral Home, 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879 on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm to pay respects to the family for a memorial visitation. On Friday there will be a memorial mass at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy at 5:30 pm. When services are complete he will be returning home to Poland accompanied by his loving sister.
