Christine C. Solasky

Christine Carol (Cross) Solasky, daughter of the late John Vincent Cross (Krzyzkowski) and Anna Jackin (Dziekan) of South Amboy, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024 at the Venetian nursing home in South Amboy. She was 92.
Christine returned to the longtime Krzyzkowski/Cross family home at 306 Main Street after the death of her beloved husband, Ed Solasky. She was predeceased by her siblings and their spouses: Florence Chuilli (Ernest), Eleanor Scarpellino (Carmen), and Arthur Cross (Joan).
She is survived by cousins Lorraine Kost; Mary Ann Martenak (widow of cousin Robert); Irene Bart, Veronica Ginda, and Donald Yatczenskiyatzzenski; and Dorthy Houghtaling, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 5, at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Johnson Lane, Parlin, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in memory of Christine to Sacred Heart Church at https://www.sacredheartsa.org/give .
