Christine Brome (Nee: Brady) 67 of South Amboy, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at CentraState Hospital on Sunday, May 4, 2025.
Christine was born in Staten Island the daughter of Thomas and Patricia Brady. After graduating from Tottenville High School, she went to Staten Island Community College and graduated with a medical technicians degree.
After working for a pediatrician for 20 years, she retired to spend time with her husband Jack. They traveled to many places but found their forever home in South Amboy. Christine loved animals, especially when she was growing up with her dog Princess and then later in life Jack and her had Ginger. She also loved the color purple and incorporated it into her hobbies of gardening and stain glass making. Christine was famous for Halloween parties and always attended family gatherings with her famous onion dip.
Christine was known as the “Fun” aunt to her nieces and nephews, with fun memories of sleepovers with scary movies, designing t-shirts and even going to K-Mart fun. Sundays were spent watching the Giants with her husband Jack. They were so well suited for each other that we often said, “it was marriage made in heaven.”
Christine is predeceased by her parents Patricia and Thomas Brady, her husband of 30 years Jack Brome, her nephews Patrick Brady and Sean Rispoli.
She is survived by Patricia Brady(John MacAdams), Tom C. Brady, Karen Rispoli(Jimmy), Susan Brady, Kathleen Simpson(Devin) and many nieces and nephews.
