Christina Fiedorowicz

Christina (nee Kozuch) Fiedorowicz, 82, of Old Bridge, NJ, died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Friday, October 12, 2018. Born in Slawno, Poland, to the late Pawel and Jadwiga Kozuch, Christina came to the United States on May 16, 1960 settling in Jersey City where she raised her family. She worked for many years, most recently as a cleaning supervisor at PATH of Port Authority in Jersey City, retiring in 1999. She moved to Old Bridge where she spent her last twenty-one years living with her oldest daughter and son in law.
Christina was hard-working, living a life of selfless devotion to her family. Always considerate, kind and caring, she enjoyed nothing more than being around her children and grandchildren.
Beloved wife of 20 years to the late Antoni Fiedorowicz (1977) and then beloved long-time companion to the late Jacek Markowski (1997). Devoted mother to Bozena Nasce and her husband Jerry, George Fiedorowicz and his wife Josephine, Mary Fiedorowicz and her long time companion Pete Palmblad, Irene Fitzgerald and her husband Joe and also a niece who was like a daughter, Ewa Karcz and her husband Staszek. Cherished grandmother to 11 grandchildren Elizabeth, Sylvia, Kelly, Justin, John, Amanda, Christina, Katie, Cindy, Ashley, Jackie and a great-granddaughter Layla. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Dear sister to her late brothers, Feliks and Zygfryd Kozuch.
Funeral Services will begin on Tuesday, October 16th at 10 a.m. from Kurzawa Funeral Home, 338 Main Street in South Amboy, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in South Amboy. Private Cremation to follow at Rosedale Crematory in Linden. Visiting hours will take place on Monday evening from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Family & friends may share memories and condolences at www.kurzawafh.com .
