Catherine Mary Adams, (Nee: Marshall) 62, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.
Cathy was born on January 10, 1961 in Passaic, NJ and resided in Iselin, NJ for over 50 years. She was a single mother, hard working, strong, and independent woman. She worked as a nurse in her early adult years and later became a bartender at a few local South Amboy bars. Her favorite place to be was lying in the sun on the beaches of New Jersey, especially Sandy Hook. She loved spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren, they were the most important people in her life.
Cathy was predeceased by her parents Mary and Henry Marshall, her brother Kevin Marshall, and her sister Susan Marshall. She is survived by her daughter Rebecca Sutton and her husband Ryan, her beloved grandchildren Kayden and Parker, and her sister Patricia Myers.
A memorial service will be held at Kurzawa Funeral Home 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879 on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 1:00pm-3:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association.
