Carol Ann Aitken (nee Simon) passed away Saturday, December 30 2023 at Raritan Bay Medical Center Perth Amboy NJ She turned 80 on September 7 2023.
Born September 7, 1943 in Perth Amboy the daughter of Steve and Ann Simon. Carol resided in South Amboy most of her adult life
Carol was predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband Robert Aitken and brother Stephen Simon.
She is survived by her dear sister Susan M. Almasy of Perth Amboy, a niece Leslie M Simon of Virginia Beach, VA, a nephew Stephen M. Simon of Gainesville, Georgia. Also survived are Stepchildren Robert Aitken, Kathleen Clawson, Laura Simon, Denise Williamson along with their spouses and children.
Carol had many friends and other loved ones who will miss her too many to list.
Carol will be laid to rest with Bob at the William C Doyle Veterans Cemetery 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562 on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 10:30 AM. Those choosing to attend will please arrive at the cemetery by 10:15 AM on Monday.
In lieu of flowers a charitable contribution can be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital in memory of Carol Aitken.
