Boleslaw "Bolo" Brzezinski
February 7, 1947 — March 11, 2023
Boleslaw "Bolo" Brzezinski, 76 Toms River, NJ left this earthly realm on March 11, 2023 following an accidental fall that ultimately led to his peaceful passing.
Born in Lodz, Poland on February 17, 1947, Bolo emigrated to the United States in his late 20s and met his future wife Ela in New Jersey. There he began a non-traditional love story of two immigrants meeting in America. When Ela passed away on March 20, 2023 Bolo was devastated and heartbroken. They would have been married 47 years in April.
Bolo ran his own commercial construction company for over 30 years. He was a convivial fellow, an avid sports fan, enjoyed solving the hardest sudoku puzzles, and playing bridge at his community center. His younger self did a stint racing cars off road- even winning trophies. He also, especially, loved playing practical jokes with his grandkids and teaching them how to play cards.
He is survived by his son Bolus, daughter Lisa, and her three wonderful grandchildren Emma, Christopher, and Charlotte. A memorial services to be scheduled at a later date.
