Agnes Korman (Nee: Weinmann) 50 of Parlin, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2026, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. Born on May 14th, 1975, in Perth Amboy, Agnes lived a life defined by love, kindness, strength, and devotion to her family and friends. She spent her life in Parlin with her beloved husband and daughters, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love.
Agnes graduated from South Amboy High School before continuing her education at DeVry University, where she earned her associate degree while working full-time and raising two young daughters; an accomplishment that reflected her determination, resilience, and dedication to her family. She worked at HQSI for more than 25 years, where she built lasting friendships and touched the lives of many through her compassion, generosity, and unwavering work ethic.
Agnes was the beloved wife of Milan Korman, with whom she shared 31 happy years of marriage. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, Casey and Mia, who were the center of her world and her greatest pride. She was also a loving dog mom to her cherished Shih Tzu, Ollie, who was always faithfully by her side.
She is survived by her loving husband, Milan Korman; her daughters, Casey Korman and Mia Korman; her parents, Richard and Barbara Weinmann; her brother, Richard J. Weinmann; her lifelong friend, Tracy Doyle; and many extended family members, friends, coworkers, and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.
Agnes found joy in caring for the people around her. She loved cooking and sharing recipes with family and friends, especially making homemade pierogis that brought everyone together around the table. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for loved ones, spending time at the beach, watching the Rocky movies, and making memories with her family. Agnes had a heart big enough for everyone; she loved making others happy and would do absolutely anything for the people she cared about. Her smile and laugh were gentle, warm, and unforgettable, bringing comfort and happiness to those around her. She was someone people could always rely on, no matter the circumstance.
Even throughout her illness, Agnes showed incredible strength and courage, fighting until the very end with grace and determination. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and forever remembered.
Friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Thursday May 14, 2026, from 5pm to 7pm at the Kurzawa Funeral Home,338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879. A 6:30pm prayer service will be offered at the funeral home.
