Zdzislaw "Ziggy" Skok

Zdzislaw "Ziggy" Skok, 68 of South Amboy passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. Ziggy was born in Pisz, Poland, the son of Jaroslaw and Halina. In 1974 he came to the United States and has lived in South Amboy ever since. He has been married to his devoted wife Wanda for 42 years and has been a dedicated father and a hard worker. Ziggy was a skilled tool and die maker and has worked for various companies over the years before retiring. He has worked for Stop Fire Company, Driver Harris or known now as Harrison Alloys Co., Haynes International, New Brunswick Scientific and SS White Technologies. As well as being a hard worker he was a devoted catholic and has been an active member and usher with Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Ziggy is survived by his beloved wife Wanda Skok, loving son Christopher Skok, and his wife Dana Marie, cherished grandson Sebastian Henry Skok, dear brother Andrzej Skok and sister Agnieszka Radecka. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins, both in Poland and America. Predeceased him is parents Jaroslaw and Halina, and his brother Jaroslaw Skok. Friends are invited to the Kurzawa Funeral Home, 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879 on Sunday, November 3, 2019 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. A 9:30am funeral Mass will be offered at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy on Monday. He will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin.
