Lorraine A. Munck (Nee: Szatkowski) 86 a lifelong resident of South Amboy entered into eternal rest Saturday, May 7, 2022 at her home of 60 years. Lorraine was born in South Amboy, graduated Hoffman High School in 1954. After high school she worked for Dupont, but only for a short time period. She married her high school sweetheart Robert F. Munck, Sr. in 1958 and began raising a family. Lorraine enjoyed caring for her family, especially cooking. She was known for always feeding you from her soul, and most people will remember her spirited attitude, her cheesecake and banana pancakes. Lorraine enjoyed spending family trips to their house in upstate NY as well as sharing recipes with friends and family. Lorraine was the Muckee Bars biggest fan and would share cooking tips with her sons. Lorraine will be known for her dedication to her family and will be greatly missed. Lorraine is predeceased by her husband Robert F. Munck, daughter Karen Klein, parents Charles and Sophie Szatkowski, sister Dorothy Grabowski and brother Arthur Szatkowski. She is survived by her loving boys Robert F. Munck, Jr., John E. Munck, Daryl J. Munck and Glen T. Munck. Lorraine was the grandmother to Richie C. Klein and Aimee Carey, and great grandmother to Brielle Klein. Nieces Charlene Kenny and Alexis Poplowski, great nephew Richard and Sean, great niece Amber and Shelby. Friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 4-7pm at the Kurzawa Funeral Home, 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879. A 10 am prayer service will be offered on Wednesday May 11, 2022 at the funeral home followed by the burial at Christ Church Cemetery, Sayreville, NJ.
