Ching-Yon Hon, age 73, of Plainsboro, died Wednesday, July 12, 2017 with his loving family by his side. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Kurzawa Funeral Home, 338 Main Street, South Amboy, NJ 08879. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, July 14, 2017 at Ewing Church Cemetery, 100 Scotch Road, Ewing Township, NJ with Pastor Paul officiating. Ching was born in China on June 28, 1944 to Wai Chun Chin and the late Chuo Choy Hon. He attended High School at Suzhou H.S. and was a member of Princeton Alliance Church in Plainsboro. Ching loved in his free time to travel and play Mahjong. He is survived by his mother, Wai Chun Chin of Flushing, NY, one daughter, Vanessa Wong and husband Brian of Plainsboro, NJ, one son, Erwin Hon of Taipei, a granddaughter, Lian Wong and a grandson, Lenon Wong. The family would like to give a special thank you to the Compassionate Care nurse, Paula, Home aide, Marylin and the social worker, Jan for all of their care and help in the pat six weeks. Also all of the staff at Merwick Nursing Home for everything that they did in the last couple of days of Ching’s life on earth.
